Boys Night Out after the screening at Hot Metal Grille

Dylan Wells (Chad Edward Bartley) has a good job, a great pad and an exciting relationship with Ken Sparks (Gaetano Jones), his sexy well traveled boyfriend who just might be “the one.” A great life, or so he believes, until Ken disappears right before Dylan’s 23rd birthday party where Ken is to meet Dylan’s parents. Dylan follows Ken’s trail to Phoenix, where he discovers his double life with the equally sexy and earthy Demetrius Stone (Jeff Castle), who had no idea that Dylan existed. Dylan and Demetrius are forced together to discover what happened to Ken and what happened to their relationships with him. The exploration of their separate pasts bring them together in the present for a hot and healing romance. Director Michael Akers (Gone, But Not Forgotten, Matrimonium) helms his third feature Phoenix, inspired by the Antonioni classic L’Avventura (1961), co-produced and co-written by Akers and his partner Sandon Berg.
