It’s refreshing when a first-time feature director comes along with a film as entertaining as Long-Term Relationship. This charming romantic comedy tells the story of Glenn, a cynical yet still hopeful single man in Los Angeles searching for true love. On a lark he answers an intriguing personal ad and is shocked to find himself immediately attracted to the GWM who placed it looking for an LTR, a cute Southern boy named Adam. Smitten, liberal Glenn is horrified to learn after a couple of dates that Adam is… a Republican! But even as they try to work past that potential pitfall, when they finally have sex, it’s bad. Really, really bad. But is it bad enough to break up with your soulmate over?
